CAMBRIDGE PRELIMINARY ENGLISH TEST (PET) (UK):
Is the second highest level of the Cambridge ESOL exams and corresponds to level B1 of the European Reference Framework. This exam is of pre-intermediate level which is highly recommended for going on to study for superior exams like the First Certificate.
 
CAMBRIDGE FIRST CERTIFICATE (UK) y TOEFL (USA):
Widely recognised by academic institutions and companies from all over the world as proof that they can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper intermediate level; credit validation in a lot of university degrees.
The First Certificate examination corresponds to level B2 of the European Reference Framework and is highly recommended for anybody thinking of going to university, and essential for anyone who would like to work or study abroad. Course duration is usually two years.
 
CAMBRIDGE ADVANCE CERTIFICATE (UK):
Is the second highest level of the Cambridge ESOL exams and corresponds to level C1 of the European Reference Framework. It is internationally accepted as an in-depth high-level test of English language which makes it ideal for applying to study at an English university, work in a professional international environment and apply for visas to study in Australia or the UK.
 
CAMBRIDGE PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE (UK):
Is recognised by universities and companies around the world as evidence of having attained an extremely high level of English. This examination corresponds to level C2 of the European Reference Framework and candidates should be capable of:
  • Understanding practically everything they read and listen to with ease
  • Summarising information from diverse sources either in written or oral language and produce a logical argument from this information in a coherent manner
  • Expressing themselves fluently, spontaneously and precisely and form opinions even about complex topics
